Kinder 2026

This week, our 2026 kindergarten students had a special visit from Mrs Middleton, our Targeted Maths Teacher. They spent lots of time counting and showing her how clever they are at seeing small groups of numbers and just ‘knowing’ how much they are without counting. (This essential skill is called subitising.) 

Our incoming kinders have now been assigned their official senior buddy. This may be the most motivated, caring, empathic, attentive group of young leaders we have ever had. The pairings have evolved naturally, as these year four students have gravitated toward the younger friends who needed them the most. Today, they helped their new friends learn some maths games, remember the correct foods to eat at each break, find what they needed for outdoor play, and generally make our day the success it was.
