From the Principal's Desk

Welcome back to Term 4! I hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable break. I am excited to be back after my Principal Renewal Leave and am looking forward to finishing the year on a high note with our wonderful students and staff. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Mrs Middleton for her outstanding leadership and care of the school community while I was away. Her dedication and commitment ensured that everything continued to run smoothly.
Term 4 is always a busy and vibrant time of year. Today marks the beginning of our judo lessons, which will continue over the coming weeks. These sessions are a great way for students to build confidence, coordination, and respect through physical activity. The judo lessons have been made possible through a successful grant application to Sporting Schools Australia. Mr Patrick Rhynehart and Miss O’Sullivan will be running the Judo lessons in the Pioneer Hall.
As this year is an odd year, our end-of-year Presentation will be held during the day at 12:00 pm on Monday, 8 December. The event will include our annual awards presentations, a nativity play and Christmas carols. It promises to be a wonderful celebration of our students’ achievements and the joy of the season. We warmly invite all families to attend and share in this special occasion. I envision that the Presentation Day ceremonies will finish between 1:00 and 1:30 pm.
Our Year 4, 5, and 6 students are eagerly looking forward to their upcoming excursion to Ballarat. A note will be sent home next week outlining what students need to bring and other key details. A big thank you to Mrs Barclay and Mrs Wailes for their organisation and for accompanying the students on this exciting learning adventure.
Over the next few weeks, we will be hosting several work experience students from Tumbarumba High School. This is a great opportunity for these students to experience the life of a teacher and see first-hand the rewarding work that takes place in our classrooms. We look forward to welcoming them to our school community.
As we begin this final term, I would like to thank you all for your continued support and partnership. Let’s make Term 4 a memorable and successful one for all our students.
God Bless,
