One Act Play Festival

I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Miss Emily Holmes and Mr Bevan Madden for their outstanding coordination of this year’s One Act Play Festival during the past seven weeks of Term 1. Last Thursday, an enthusiastic audience of parents and friends enjoyed captivating performances from 12 groups of students, each presenting their own short plays focused on the theme 'Jukebox: Every Song has a Story'. The energy and excitement in the Black Box were palpable, thanks to the dedication of all the students involved, both on stage and behind the scenes.

I'm delighted to announce that the Best Overall Play was awarded to The Hunt for the Sacred Paintbrush – a tale of two thieves, a magical paintbrush, a museum, a cop, and one character not quite as they seem.
