School Information

School Uniform
With warmer weather on the way, students are reminded that school hats are required during Term 4 when outdoors.
Bucket hats can be purchased from Reception. Please ensure your child's hat is clearly named to help with lost property.
Students are also reminded to wear the correct summer uniform throughout Term 4. As temperatures can vary throughout the day, students are encouraged to bring appropriate layers while still wearing approved school uniform items.
Exams and Assessments
Term 4 is a busy time for assessment, with exams and end-of-year assessments taking place across the school.
Students are encouraged to stay organised, keep up with their classwork and begin preparing early. Families can support students by helping them establish a regular study routine and checking Compass for upcoming assessment information.
Further information about exam dates and arrangements will be communicated to students and families via compass.
Attendance
As we move into the final term, regular attendance remains important. Every day at school provides students with opportunities to learn, complete assessments and stay connected with their classes.
If your child is absent, please remember to enter an Attendance Note through Compass, selecting the reason that best reflects the absence.
Attendance Notes can be entered for both upcoming absences and previous unexplained absences.
How to Enter an Attendance Note in Compass
Compass Parent Guides are available for both Compass Web and Compass App users. Please refer to the guides below for step-by-step instructions.
Which “Reason” Should I Choose?
Parents and carers often ask which absence reason they should select when submitting an Attendance Note.
To assist, we have prepared a table outlining the Compass absence reasons alongside the Department of Education descriptions. We encourage all families to refer to this table and select the most appropriate reason when recording an absence.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Reminder
A friendly reminder that the staff car park near Reception is not to be used for student drop-offs or pick-ups.
Families are asked to use the parking areas along Mt Baimbridge Road and the service road on Coleraine Road.
Student supervision begins from 8:20am. Students should not arrive before this time, as supervision is not available prior to 8:20am. Families may be contacted if students are regularly being dropped off early.
Thank you for helping us keep our school grounds safe and accessible for students, families and staff.
Keep an Eye on Compass
There will be plenty happening throughout Term 4, including assessments, exams, excursions, activities and end-of-year events.
