YEAR 9
Growing Together

Head of Year 9
Several of our talented Year 9 students will be performing in the musical Frozen Jr. in the coming week. We wish them all the very best for their performances and look forward to seeing them take to the stage.
The Year 9 cohort is also fortunate to have the opportunity to watch the show during Periods 5 and 6 on Wednesday. We are sure it will be an enjoyable experience and a wonderful opportunity to support our fellow students.
Regular attendance is crucial to student success, as it supports consistent learning and engagement. When students attend school regularly, they benefit from continuous instruction, participate in class discussions, and build strong relationships with their peers and teachers.
Consistent attendance helps students stay on track with their studies, develop a deeper understanding of the material, and build essential skills such as time management and responsibility. Ultimately, good attendance is an important factor in achieving academic success and preparing students for future opportunities.
All students have access to their assessment calendars through the Student Portal - Student Curricular Resources.
We encourage students and families to regularly check the assessment calendar and upcoming due dates. Being organised and aware of assessment requirements helps students plan and prepare for upcoming assessments and exams.
Please note: We have updated the format of the newsletter. The Whole of College Notices and Uniform Schedule are now located in their own dedicated tab, making it easier to find this important information each week.
