Literacy:

Students have been learning about adverbs, adjectives, verbs and adverbs of manner, developing their understanding of how different words can add detail, clarity and expression to their writing. These important parts of language help students choose precise words, describe ideas vividly and communicate their thoughts with greater confidence. By building their vocabulary, and understanding how words work together, students are developing the skills needed to become capable, creative and engaging writers!

Maths

This week students have been exploring Statistics and Data, developing their understanding of how information can be collected, represented and interpreted. We have also been investigating probability and chance, making predictions and discussing the likelihood of different outcomes using mathematical language. These skills help students make sense of information, identify patterns and use evidence to support their thinking and decision-making. It has been wonderful to see students becoming confident mathematical thinkers as they explain their ideas, make predictions and justify their reasoning.
