Senior School Director

As always, it has been a busy Term 1 in the Senior School. We started off the year by taking our Year 12 students off site to prepare them for their final year in our annual ‘Step Up’ program at St Kilda Town Hall. We have held year level assemblies for both Year 11 and 12 students to set expectations for the year.

Our Year 12 students also attended a workshop run by Elevate Education outlining best practice for effective and proven study routines. Similarly, our Year 11 students will have an Elevate session on Time Management in Term 2 to help them make the transition to their VCE years as smooth as possible.

Our Director of Pathways, Ms. Emily Duffy led a Year 12 assembly on post-school options and application processes and has begun meeting individually with all our Year 12 students about their post-school preferences and options. The exciting process of planning for life after school is well and truly underway.

At this stage, all our VCE students have sat their first round of SACs and as a Senior School team, we’ve been delighted with the way our students have applied themselves and approached their studies - it has been a very smooth and productive first term with plenty still to look forward to for the remainder of the year – our Year 12 students are looking great in the new jackets!

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the parents and carers of our Senior School students for their ongoing support of our students, staff and program - supporting students through high school is a collaborative effort and we’re very grateful for your support of what we do at school.

We enjoyed meeting with students, parents and carers during the recent Parent-Teacher conferences and, looking forward to continuing the positive and productive trajectory that 2025 has begun on.
