Last year Nazareth College welcomed two young, fresh and talented directors: Tim Bland and Hayley Keating. The pair have come to Nazareth ready to share their impeccable experience and talents in directing and managing School Productions.

As the College’s Instructional Leader tasked to employ capable and skillful professionals to bring to life a show vision and performance opportunities for talented and hard-working Nazareth students, I can tell you confidently that the last 12 weeks of rehearsals have been rich with testimonials of nothing but outstanding results of the quality of talent we have here presented in our students. Get Ready for High School Musical: On Stage! Showing This June at Nazareth College!

The spotlight is on, the Wildcats are warming up, and the East High spirit is in full swing!

This June, Nazareth College proudly presents High School Musical: On Stage — a stage extravaganza packed with unforgettable songs, dazzling dances, and all the drama (onstage, of course) you love!

Meet the dream team bringing this production to life:

Hayley Keating, Co-Director/Choreographer: Bringing the moves, the grooves, and all the Wildcats flair to the stage!

Tim Bland, Co-Director/Musical Director: The real-life Ms. Darbus, leading with rhythm and heart!

Nyudong Landid, Assistant Director (AD): The glue holding it all together, making sure no cue is missed and no jazz square forgotten! Not to forget an alumnus too!

Em Beggs, Stage Manager: The calm in the storm, keeping everything on track behind the scenes so the cast can shine out front This production brings together an incredible team of student performers from across all year levels — from drama club regulars to first-time stage stars — all stepping into the shoes of East High’s most iconic characters.

Leading the charge as Gabriella Montez is our amazing School Captain, Gabriella Kakerissa. Gabby has shown that she's just as comfortable under the spotlight as she is in leadership. As the community gets behind the show both students and staff, we welcome a special guest appearance, as Coach Bolton, by one of your favourite teachers at Nazareth (Mr Surprise). We won’t spoil the surprise, but let’s just say you’ve never seen them quite like this.

From Sharpay’s sparkle to Zeke’s crème Brulé and everything in between, the entire cast has been working hard to bring this high-energy, heartfelt musical to life. When you arrive at the doors of the Wheeler Auditorium, expect big vocals, bigger dance numbers, and all the Wildcat spirit you can handle!
