Vinnies Winter Appeal Pastoral Collection

This year for the Winter Appeal, we are running a competition between the Pastoral Groups to see which class can bring in the most items.

Students are asked to make their donation to their Pastoral teacher, who will tick their name off as they place their donation in a box near the teacher’s desk. 

 The Appeal will begin this week and run for 4 weeks, leading up to the Social Justice Mass on June 10 (TBA).

In the past, we have collected an enormous amount of non-perishable food and toiletries, so we are hopeful to repeat this again.

This year, Vinnies have decided to allocate donations according to Year levels, so that we get a range of items.

Here is the allocation:

Year 7 - can/packets of soup/canned vegetables

Year 8 - Jars of pasta/Asian sauces

Year 9 - packets of pasta/rice

Year 10 - breakfast items-cereals, long-life milk

Year 11- shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes

Year 12 - Female sanitary products/men's shaving items/deodorants
