HOL Café returns this year for the 9th year since conception. During this time, we have expanded in several ways to provide more opportunities for students at Brookside College. This includes the increase in operational days, increase in student numbers, participation in annual fundraising and catering events and more delicious food and coffee being made for staff.


This year we will be working together more closely with HOL Landscape to grow our own herbs, fruits and vegetables in our HOL Garden. We have been very fortunate to receive a $1,500 Community Grant from Modeina and this will go a long way in the regeneration of our garden. Produce grown in the garden will directly benefit the Café program and provide our students another aspect of hospitality and landscaping management. We look forward to keeping you updated about garden progress over the year.


Our café students are off and running in week 3 and we are looking forward to seeing them grow in confidence and skill through our daily operations and by participating in various events held at Brookside over the coming school year, such as The Biggest Morning Tea Bakesale fundraiser and any catering requests that may arise.
2026 will be a great year!
