Around the Classrooms

Year 9 Phyical Education
PE students recently took part in two self-defence classes, where they developed practical skills and strategies to help them feel safe and confident in a range of situations. Throughout the sessions, students learnt the importance of being aware of their surroundings, setting personal boundaries, communicating assertively and responding appropriately to potentially unsafe situations. It was fantastic to see the students actively engaging in the sessions and building valuable skills to support their personal safety and wellbeing.

Year 10 Dance
Students developed their balance, agility, and motor coordination at recent Acrobatics incursion. Two guest teachers taught students how to perform a range of movements. The students had lots of fun engaging in this activity and can bring these skills to their performances this semester.
