During Term 2 the Middles and Senior learning communities were involved in a wonderful artistic competition about Peace. Run, organised and sponsored by the International Woman’s Peace Group (IWPG) who’s headquarters are in Korea. The winners from each class artwork was sent to Korea. Each student who was a finalist received an arty prize and the winner of each class won something on top that. 

Congratulations to all who participated and including the finalists and prize winners. A big congratulations to the overall winner, judged by all staff members, who was Joanna Thomas. I am hopeful that students can understand the value in trying your best in Visual Arts and understand that visual artworks are great ways to communicate ideas and thoughts.
