1A	Josie Lin	Kindness	During Circle Time, Josie has been a regular contributor to discussions, offering insightful thoughts and opinions. She has shown kindness towards her peers and teacher, always ready to help others and make them feel included. Josie’s thoughtful actions truly reflect our school value of kindness, as she consistently demonstrates care and respect for those around her. Keep up the wonderful work, Josie!
1B	Eloise Naughton	Kindness	Eloise is a wonderful friend who regularly shows kindness towards others. Whether it's lending a helping hand, offering encouragement, or being there when someone really needs a friend, she always steps up. Eloise’s thoughtful actions, especially during times when a little extra support is needed, have not gone unnoticed. Thank you, Eloise, for being a thoughtful member of 1B.
1C	Marc Duncan	Self-Regulation	Marc is a fantastic role model in our classroom, always demonstrating self-regulation and making positive choices. He consistently follows classroom expectations, showing kindness, patience, and responsibility in everything he does. His calm and focused attitude helps create a great learning environment for everyone. Well done, Marc, for being our Student of the Week!
2A	James Barglowski	Bravery/A love of learning	Congratulations James, you are a model student who listens attentively, works with focus and you are always ready for learning. It is clear that you have a love of learning. Thank you for sharing your knowledge about space with us. It was truly wonderful to see your bravery when presenting your SRC speech to the class. What a stellar start to the year!

2C	Helena Chernitsky	Self-regulation	Helena has demonstrated exceptional resilience this week. She worked with a positive attitude and remained focused on all her goals. Helena showed great discipline in managing her emotions and staying on track, even when things got tough.
3A	Billy Maruca	Curiosity	Billy should be commended for his resilience and positive attitude. He has had a fantastic start to the year in 3A and has shown wonderful enthusiasm to all learning tasks. He shares his ideas during class discussions, displays curiosity when learning and asks interesting questions to further his understanding. Keep up the great work Billy!
3B	Aston Sparks	Kindness	Congratulations, Aston, for being such a kind, considerate, and friendly member of the class. You always go out of your way to help your peers and teachers, whether it's retrieving supplies, labeling books, logging into computers, or organizing belongings. Your willingness to assist others is truly appreciated!
3C	Harvey Fisher	A love of learning	Harvey is to be congratulated on a fantastic week of learning. He has demonstrated concentration during learning time and has displayed a positive attitude to all his learning tasks, completing them with perseverance and seeking assistance when needed. Well done Harvey, keep up the good work!
4A	Ari Gaudin	Humility	Ari is an amazing student who always puts in his best effort without seeking recognition. He is kind, well-mannered, and approaches every challenge with quiet determination. His humble attitude and willingness to let his work speak for itself set a great example for others.
4B	Lia Bagele	Perseverance
4C	Quinn Chand	Aspiration	Quinn has worked diligently in our Math sessions and has mastered multiplying numbers by 10, 100 amnd 1000! He even requested extra work! What a fabulous attitude!
5/6A	Christina Whitehead	Perseverance	Chrissie consistently demonstrates perseverance and determination across all subjects in the classroom. Whether it's writing narratives, solving math problems, or coding robots in STEM, she approaches every challenge with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Chrissie, you are a wonderful role model for your classmates in 5/6A

5/6B	Kosta Vakrinos	A Love of Learning	Congratulations to Kosta for his dedication and enthusiasm in every lesson. He has given one hundred percent effort in every class, ask for help when needed, and celebrated his achievements. It has been terrific to see Kosta so excited to learn new skills! Keep up the great work!
5/6C	Gab Urmeneta	A Love of Learning	Gab has enjoyed a fantastic start to life at Black Rock Primary School. He has immersed himself extremely well, participating enthusiastically in all the class tasks throughout the first few weeks. Congratulations on your efforts so far Gab!
5/6D	Ingrid Blunt	A Love of Learning	Ingrid showed outstanding focus during our math lessons. She did an excellent job practicing division using brackets and demonstrated great perseverance. Additionally, Ingrid worked wonderfully with her group, showing strong collaboration skills. Keep up the great work!

1A	Sol Panditharatne	Team Work	Sol has been a wonderful ‘Handy Helper’ in 1A this week and has diligently carried out this role to help his teacher and classmates. He willingly contributed to class discussions and it has been wonderful to hear his connections to his learning. What a fantastic start to the year!
1B	Boston Knight	Kindness	Boston is always kind to others, showing care and respect in everything he does. He is quick to offer a helping hand to both his classmates and teachers, making our classroom a better place for everyone. Thank you Boston!
1C	Matilda Hyland	Love of Learning	Matilda has made a fantastic start to Year 1 and has settled in beautifully. She comes to school each day with a big smile, ready to learn and take on new challenges. She has quickly adapted to classroom routines and is showing kindness and enthusiasm in all that she does. Well done, Matilda, for being our very first Student of the Week!
2A	Harry De La Fontaine		Wow Harry! What a fantastic start to the school year! Harry has shown a positive attitude towards all learning activities and is always ready for learning. He shows kindness and respect to his classmates and teachers which shows he is an excellent role model for all students. The happy energy you bring to school everyday makes 2A a supportive and welcoming place to be. Keep it up and I can't wait to see all the great things you will achieve in 2025!
2B	Ted Swanton	Self Regulation	Ted has shown a great effort to raise his hand, stay focused, and refrain from calling out during class. His dedication to improving his classroom behaviour throughout the week has been impressive and sets a great example for his peers. Keep it up, Ted
2C	Vinnie Pretty	Love of Learning	Vinnie has made an outstanding start to Year 2, consistently demonstrating a love for learning. He is always willing to contribute to class discussions, sharing his ideas and always helping others. Keep up the great work Vinnie!
3A	Winter Anthony	Love of Learning	Winter has kicked off 2025 with remarkable enthusiasm in 3A, demonstrating a genuine curiosity for her learning. Her proactive approach to learning is evident through her questioning, showcasing a high level of responsibility. Congratulations, Winter!
3B	Marley Dow	kindness	Marley is to be congratulated for his positive attitude towards class activities. He is a respectful and kind-hearted class member who is always willing to help his peers and teachers throughout the day, displaying care and consideration for everyone around him. A sensational start to the year!
3C	Millie Crittenden	Leadership	Millie is to be congratulated on a fantastic start to Year Three and being an exemplary leader in 3C. She has shown a love of learning through listening to her teacher and approaching all tasks with enthusiasm. She also went out of her way to help her classmates with their work. Millie is a role model to her classmates!
4A	Owen Prideaux	Creativity	Owen wrote a fantastic and dramatic version of his holiday visit to Lunar Park. He filled the page with short, punchy sentences and dramatic vocabulary. Excellent writing, Owen.
4B	Jack Anthony	Leadership	Jack has demonstrated responsibility and leadership when leading his class around the school, upholding our expectations and demonstrating respect for the safety of others.
4B	Millie Moore	Love of Learning	Millie has demonstrated a Love of Learning when applying herself to all tasks in the classroom, putting forward her best effort and confidently sharing her ideas with the class.
4C	Joseph Vinarsky	Love of Learning	Joseph has displayed great discipline and an eagerness to learn! His attitude is inspiring and his behaviour is exemplary!
5/6A	Pia Riscalla	Kindness	Pia has made a terrific start to 2025. She is always quick to offer a smile and words of encouragement to her classmates, creating a positive environment for everyone around her. Pia has also made many valuable contributions in class discussions and has attacked all tasks with positivity.
5/6B	Rafael Panton	Love of Learning	Raf has begun the school year with great enthusiasm, showing a positive attitude towards his learning. He eagerly offers input during class discussions, sharing his ideas with confidence, and participates enthusiastically in all activities. Keep up the fantastic effort, Raf!
5/6C	Yvie Jones	Kindness	Congratulations to Yvie in 56C for consistently demonstrating kindness. She has shown remarkable patience and compassion towards her Foundation buddy and peers, making a positive impact on those around her. Yvie’s thoughtful actions and leadership set a wonderful example for others, and she should be incredibly proud of the difference she has made!
5/6D	Bella Matthews	A Love of Learning	Bella has started the year with a keen interest in learning, approaching each lesson with focus and curiosity. She listens carefully, asks relevant questions, and puts in her best effort. Her positive approach to learning sets a great example for her classmates.
5/6E	Byron Bridge	Leadership	Byron has consistently demonstrated leadership in the classroom by being respectful and kind to both his peers and teachers. He is always willing to lend a helping hand, whether it's assisting classmates with their work or contributing to group activities. As a table partner, Byron creates a positive and supportive environment, ensuring everyone feels included and valued.


FA	Jakub Lane	Kindness	What a wonderful start to school to see Jakub showing so much kindness both in the Foundation A classroom as well as outside in the playground. He always gives a great smile to his friends and buddy. Jakub is always ready to help his classmates and teacher. Well done Jakub!
FB	Miller Roscoe	Teamwork	Well done to Miller for showing great teamwork and listening in class. His ability to sit at his table and listen has enabled him to complete learning tasks and engage with his peers positively. Well done Miller and keep up the fantastic work!
FB	Rafi Callaghan	Kindness	Well done to Rafi for showing wonderful kindness in Foundation B. He always displays kindness through his fantastic listening when sitting on the floor and at his table. Rafi respects others in the classroom which makes him a wonderful role model to his peers.
FC	Tessa Skehan	Love of Learning	Tessa is to be congratulated for making a wonderful start to the year in FC. She readily contributes to classroom discussions, as she loves to share her knowledge with both her teacher and her peers.

FA	Lachie Duncan	Kindness	It’s been wonderful to see Lachie demonstrating our B.R.P.S value of kindness. He is always aware of when his classmates need help in the classroom and Lachie is always ready to give everyone a beautiful smile to make their day. Thanks, Lachie, for making FA’s class so much brighter!
FB	Hadley Bond	Leadership

1A	Alice Osment	Love of Learning	Alice has been demonstrating wonderful work habits and always applies herself to learning tasks. She willingly takes on feedback to improve her work and it’s been lovely to see how proud she is of her achievements. Keep up the great work Alice!
1B	Eadie Greig	Kindness	Even though she is new, Eadie has already made fantastic friendships through her warmth and kindness. She always greets others with a smile, includes her classmates, and brings a positive energy to the classroom. Eadie’s caring nature and friendly attitude make our school a better place, and we are so lucky to have her! Keep shining your kindness Eadie!
1C	Arlo Littlehales	Perseverance	Arlo has shown fantastic perseverance when faced with challenging tasks. He never gives up, tries his best, and approaches every challenge with a positive attitude. He actively asks questions when he is unsure, showing great determination to improve and learn. Well done, Arlo, for being our Student of the Week!

2B	Jacob Fuller	A Love of Learning	Jacob has settled in so well to the routines and expectations in Year Two. He is a kind classmate and shows wonderful listening to his teachers and peers. We love having Jacob as a role model in our class. Thank you for being you, Jacob!

3A	Winnie Roach	A Love of Learning	What a delight it is to have Winnie in 3A. She always listens carefully to teacher instruction and works independently on her tasks. Winnie is responsible during partner work and is always seeking to gain a clear understanding of a concept or topic. Keep it up Winnie!
3B	Chloe Beattie	Kindness	Chloe is incredibly generous with her time and always eager to help others. She is a kind and compassionate classmate who looks out for her peers, offering a hand when they’re in need or when teachers require assistance. Congratulations, Chloe – your support is truly appreciated!

4A	Georgia King	Perseverance	For maintaining a positive, can-do mindset and demonstrating outstanding perseverance in mathematics. Through dedication and determination, Georgia experienced a breakthrough in division and even declared that division is, in fact, fun! You’re absolutely right, Georgia—what a fantastic achievement!

4C	Eva Riscalla	Aspiration	Eva has worked diligently in our Math sessions in order to improve her automatic recall of times table facts. She is always focused and engaged in lessons. It’s wonderful to see such a fabulous attitude!

5/6B	Jayshan Kumaran	A Love of Learning	Jayshan showed great effort and focus in crafting his narrative on King Arthur. His writing included well-placed fronted adverbials, expanded noun phrases, and descriptive adverbial phrases, bringing the legendary tale to life. Well done, Jayshan!
5/6C	Sophie Fuller	Teamwork	Congratulations to Sophie in 56C for demonstrating outstanding teamwork during her first round of interschool sport. She was a positive and encouraging presence, uplifting her teammates and showing great sportsmanship by supporting players on both teams. Sophie’s enthusiasm and kindness created a welcoming environment, making sure everyone felt included and motivated. Well done!
5/6D	Rock Pinder	Teamwork	Rock has demonstrated a terrific attitude to his learning for the beginning of the school year and he has been a very positive member of 5/6D. Rock showed awesome teamwork during the Oztag team’s first game for the season, helping the team to a big win! Well done, Rock.
5/6E	Cash Richardson-Murray	Teamwork	Cash demonstrated outstanding teamwork by helping his Tee ball team get into position for their first match and offering assistance to the opposing team when they were short on players. His actions showed not only great leadership but also integrity, ensuring everyone had the opportunity to play and enjoy the game.
