While there were some nervous students awaiting news from tertiary institutions and employers, the careers team were confident that by January, all students were on their way to their chosen pathway for 2026. 

Here is some of the destination data for the class of 2025 : 

 So how do we help students get to where they want to go? Here’s a few tips: 

• Having an open mindset and be ready to look at different ways of getting to where you want to go. 
• It’s okay not to be sure what you want to do but sitting on the couch or doom scrolling will not help you find your path. Try things – courses, work or volunteering are great ways to see what might become your passion and career 
• Make sure that no matter what year level, each one is a stepping stone to help you successfully complete your secondary studies.
