Deakin Residential Scholarships 

We’re pleased to let you know that Deakin Residential Services accommodation scholarships are now open.

Eligible students may receive up to $15,000 to help cover the cost of on-campus accommodation at Deakin, supporting access and affordability as they transition into university life.

These scholarships are available to students applying to live at:

• Melbourne Burwood
• Geelong Waurn Ponds
• Geelong Waterfront

The scholarships are supported through HEPPP and are designed to assist students who would benefit from additional financial support while living in a safe, connected residential community close to their studies.

How to apply

Applications are open now and close Wednesday 28 January 2026 at 5pm. Students must complete a simple two-step process:

• Apply directly to Deakin Res, and
• Apply through the Deakin Scholarships Office

Students should log in to the Deakin Scholarship Application Portal and select “Undergraduate Scholarship Application Tri/Sem 1 2026.”

This single application is assessed for all available scholarships.

Please note: there is no separate “Res scholarship” listed. Students simply need to tick the Deakin Res box, and their application will automatically be considered within the accommodation scholarship pool.
