Faith Report

As a College grounded in the Brigidine charism, we take time each year to acknowledge and celebrate St Brigid’s Day (February 1). But beyond the tradition, it is worth reflecting on what St Brigid offers a contemporary school community.
St Brigid models compassion and a deep care for those who are vulnerable - values we actively nurture within our College. She is a woman of kindness, reminding us of the importance of being gentle with ourselves and with others. She is also a woman of the people, walking alongside those in need. In this spirit, we aspire for our students and staff to journey with others, offering presence, support and understanding.
Our core value for 2026 is Justice. Throughout the year, this value will be brought to life through a range of Christian service opportunities that invite our students to listen to the cries of the poor and respond with empathy and action. We will encourage both students and staff to give generously of their time and talents, particularly in settings of great need. This may take the form of volunteering, outreach initiatives and fundraising activities, all grounded in our shared commitment to faith in action.
