School Photos

Start practising those smiles! School photos are on next Monday 9 February.

Students are reminded to be in full summer academic uniform. NOT sports uniform.

Students who have PE on Monday are required to bring their sport uniform in their school bag to change into after their photos are taken.

Photographs at Kildare Campus will take place in the Presentation Space. Photographs at Brigidine Campus will take place in the Hall.

Families wishing to have sibling photographs may choose to have these taken at either campus, depending on which campus their children attend. Sibling photographs will be available from 7:45am to 8:40am at both campuses. Families with students attending both Kildare and Brigidine Campuses may choose either location; however, please note that families are responsible for transporting students to their correct campus in time for the start of the school day.

Canteen Updates

Our canteen is back in full swing at both campuses.  Please find attached a 2026 price list with all our delicious options.

** Please be advised that mobile phones can longer be used to pay for items at the canteen. Acceptable payment methods include card, cash or pre-payment online through Flexischools.

NAPLAN

This year NAPLAN testing is taking place from 11-16 March. Year 7 and 9 students will participate in NAPLAN testing.

As has been the case in previous years, NAPLAN tests will be completed online. This will require all students to have a fully charged laptop and a set of earphones. Where possible earphones with a cord are preferable to Air Pods.

St Joseph’s values the data collected during NAPLAN testing. Along with other data, it is used to inform decisions at a school, subject and class level. We are also able to view each individual students test results, allowing us to ensure we are meeting students at their point of need.

There is a NAPLAN public with a demonstration site allowing students and parents to become familiar with the test format. We encourage you to look through this with your child. This website can be found here: https://www.nap.edu.au/naplan/public-demonstration-site

If your child is absent on one of these days, there will be catch up tests running on Monday 16, Wednesday 18 and Friday 20 March.
