Acting Principal's Message

Welcome back to school. How can we believe we are already in term four? It has been lovely to see all of the student's smiling faces back this week, ready for our final term of learning for the school year. 

As per our SunSmart policy for term four, we ask that students wear hats in the playground during outside play. If students do not have their hats, they will be redirected to the shade. If students require a new school hat, please reach out to the office to purchase a new one. Please also remember drink bottles as the weather warms up and appropriate uniform. 

There are quite a few events/ activities scheduled for this term as we move on into the festive season and closer to our grade six graduation. I am sure many parents of the grade sixes are counting down their student's remaining days here at George Street with a mix of emotions. Reach out if you require any additional support to manage this transition or if you feel your child requires additional transition assistance. The school has some resources provided by the Student Support Services if needed.
