Ryde Eisteddfod
At last Thursday’s school assembly, our Training Band was formally presented with their ribbons after achieving First Place in their category at the Ryde Eisteddfod. It was a wonderful moment of recognition for their hard work, teamwork, and musical growth.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Please put the following dates into your calendar.
- Thursday 15 October - Epping District Music Festival:
- Concert Band will be performing at the Epping District Music Festival.
- Day rehearsal - Students will travel by bus to the Chatswood Concourse for the daytime rehearsal. Please ensure the permission note is signed and the transport fee is paid on Schoolbytes.
- Evening concert – 7:00 pm:
The evening performance will be held at the Chatswood Concourse. Parents are asked to transport their children directly to the venue. Families are welcome to attend — tickets can be purchased at the link https://AUCENTURY.sales.ticketsearch.com/sales/salesevent/167220. Performing students do not require a ticket.
- Sunday 8 November - Hornsby North Band Festival **Please note date change**: All bands will be participating.
- Wednesday 11 November - Remembrance Day assembly at RPS: Concert Band will be performing.
- Friday 27 November - Roselea Carols Under the Stars: Night time event. All bands will be performing.
TERM 4 BAND FEES
Term 4 band invoices have now been issued. Please arrange payment by 9 October. If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please reach out to the Band Committee to discuss support options.
