Library News

We have had another very exciting and successful term in the library.  Activities included Education Day book donating.  Thank you to the many families who donated books back to our library on this day.  We also hosted our annual Book Character Parade, which was a huge success with most of our students dressing up and participating.  We have also had over 250 children complete the Premier’s Reading Challenge this year.  This is a fantastic result for our school.  Congratulations to all who have completed the challenge.  Certificates will arrive at the school at the end of term 4 and will be handed out to children then.   

As this is the last week for borrowing before the holidays, I hope that all children can return all their borrowed books, to ensure that they do not have any overdue books against their name.  If they do not have overdue books children can borrow extra books for the holidays. A great book can keep children occupied for many hours.   

Please ensure that your child/ren have returned all their books this week so they will be able to borrow for the holidays.   

If children forget their books on Tuesday, they can still bring them back and come to the library every lunchtime (Monday to Friday) or before or after school, (Monday or Tuesday), to borrow.
