🏃♀️🏃♂️ Division Athletics Championships 🏃♂️🏃♀️
Last week, 28 Monty Primary students competed at the Division Athletics Championships at Meadowglen, a record number of students representing MPS in the history of our school!
Despite freezing temperatures, rain and gale-force winds, our students showed incredible determination, enthusiasm and pride as they represented Monty. We could not be prouder of the way they conducted themselves throughout the day.
We are also thrilled to announce another record achievement, with 15 students advancing to the Regional Championships in October!
Congratulations to all our athletes, it is an absolute joy to watch you wear the Monty uniform with such pride.
A huge thank you to Etta, Mr Wickham and Mrs Costa for braving the elements and supporting our students from start to finish.

Interschool Sports 2026 — That’s a wrap!
Well, the ISS season for 2026 has officially come to an end! What an incredible two terms it has been. 💙
Congratulations to all of our students on a wonderful season. You wore our uniform with pride, determination and enthusiasm. You embraced trying new sports, learning new skills and playing alongside new people….skills and experiences we hope you take with you on your high school journey.
Every week brought different weather, different locations and different schools, but one thing remained consistent and that was your Monty spirit! 💙
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and so grateful for the way you represented our school.
A huge thank you to Ms Prabh, Mr Sank, Mr Donoughue, Miss Harper, Mr K and Mrs Costa for everything you have done throughout the season. From reffing, coaching, subbing, organising and all the many other things that make ISS happen every week.
