Student of the Week

Remi Wilding - Remi, it has been wonderful to see how easily you have settled back into our classroom after your holiday! You have hit the ground running and have jumped straight back into all of our classroom routines and learning. It has been wonderful to see you come back ready to learn, have a go and work so hard. You have grown in leaps and bounds this year and it has been so exciting to watch you become more confident and independent in your learning. You should be so proud of everything you have achieved and all the progress you have made. Keep being your wonderful, hardworking self and always remember to give things a go, even when they feel tricky. Keep up the fantastic work, Remi!

Charlie McDermott - Charlie, what a fantastic job you have been doing with your learning this term! We are so proud of the effort you have been putting into your work and the way you are challenging yourself across Reading, Writing and Maths. You are becoming such a confident learner who is always ready to have a go and we love seeing you push yourself to try new and tricky things. It makes us so happy to see how proud you are of your work too. You are always excited to share your amazing learning with us! You have also become the most wonderful classroom helper. You are always looking for ways to help with our classroom routines and often jump in to lend a hand before you even need to be asked! Your helpful, caring and thoughtful nature makes such a difference to our classroom each day. We are so lucky to have you in Foundation C. Keep working hard, keep challenging yourself and keep being the absolute legend that you are!

Oona Fosker - Oona, what an amazing job you have been doing with your reading! We are so incredibly proud of how hard you have worked this term. You have shown such wonderful persistence, especially when learning your heart words, and all that hard work is paying off! You are now decoding words with such lovely fluency and confidence and it has been fantastic to see how much your reading has improved. You should be so proud of yourself! We are also so proud of the brave and confident girl you are becoming. You are finding your voice and becoming more willing to speak up, share your ideas and have a go at new things. We love seeing you dance, sing and join in with such a big smile, even when something might feel a little bit scary at first. You are showing us that being brave means giving things a try and believing in yourself. Keep being brave, keep believing in yourself and keep working hard, Oona! We are so proud of you and all the wonderful progress you have made.

Evie Morrell - For your enthusiasm, excitement and positive attitude. You make our school days brighter!

Kai Alessio - Kai, what an INCREDIBLE week you have had. Not only have you applied yourself to all tasks and ensured you did everything to the best of your ability, you’ve also been a wonderful leader and role model for your classmates. Thank you for listening to feedback and working so hard to be the best student you can be. It’s been wonderful to watch you grow and we can’t wait to see how well you do in Term 4!

Noah Lamberth - Noah, you have shown how important it is to try your hardest! You prepared so well for your Student-Led Conference and showed great courage by being brave and sharing your learning so confidently. Watching you share so confidently, was simply amazing. The effort you have been putting into your Maths has been impressive and you have worked so hard on following instructions. You should be so proud of yourself!

Artie Pree - Well done, Artie! You have been working hard on your persuasive writing and have included fantastic reasons to support your ideas, while remembering to use capital letters, full stops and conjunctions. You have also shown great courage at our Student-Led Conferences, speaking with confidence and proudly sharing your learning. You should be very proud of your hard work, effort and confidence!

Oscar Murtagh - For an impressive persuasive piece of writing ‘Lego is better than Barbies’. You wrote strong arguments and used great persuasive devices to convince your reader. Well done, superstar!

James Hayes - For a brilliant term of learning! You are an all-round superstar and such a joy to have in our classroom. You are a fantastic learner who loves a challenge and always gives things your best shot.

Poppy Macgibbon - For always being such a kind and caring member of our classroom! Your beautiful kindness shines through in everything you do, and you always lead by example with the way you care for and support others. You always try your very best and show such a wonderful attitude towards your learning. You are a fantastic role model and such a thoughtful friend to everyone around you. Well done, Little Miss Superstar!

Wyatt Wallis - For coming back to school with such a fantastic ready-to-learn attitude! You have had a wonderful end to Term Three and I have been so impressed by the effort you are putting into your learning. You are listening carefully, giving things your best try and showing such a positive attitude each day. Keep up the amazing effort, Wyatt. Well done, superstar!

Lara Veljanovski - Congratulations Lara! You have been working so hard to improve your handwriting, especially using lowercase letters correctly and listening carefully to feedback. You were also a superstar helper in the kitchen this week, helping other groups clean up and even sweeping the floor without being asked! Keep up the amazing work!

Lachlan Bowden - Lachlan, congratulations on ending the term on a high! You have been making a genuine effort to bring a positive attitude into the classroom with you each day over the last couple of weeks and it has been wonderful to see. I have been really proud of the way you have been making good choices and showing respect towards your learning and those around you. Keep building on this positive momentum next term — I know you can do it!

Mia Seing - Congratulations, Mia, on an amazing term! You have approached your learning with such a positive attitude and have shown fantastic focus in the classroom. The high standard of work you consistently produce is something to be very proud of. Keep up the wonderful effort!

Taya McCall - Taya, I have been so impressed with the effort you have put into your maths each work. You have become a times tables ROCKSTAR and should be so proud of your efforts. Well done!

Hamish Bradley - We wished the Socceroos didn't Mish their chances. This Mish scores every time. I love the way you are working hard to improve in every area and the social justice you demonstrate every day!

Niamh Jacombs - For the humour and positivity you bring to 6D each day. You come to school with a smile on your face, ready to tackle and overcome any challenges that come your way. You strike a wonderful balance between your social and academic pursuits and consistently contribute positively to our classroom environment. Well done on an outstanding Term 3!

Julian Cosma - You have worked so hard and shown amazing curiosity throughout our writing and integrated lessons about natural disasters, especially meteorites. It was fantastic to see all your hard work come to life at the Expo last Thursday! Your slideshow and brochure were both detailed and demonstrated a great understanding of the topic. Your diorama was fantastic and included so many thoughtful details. You also made great use of your question box and confidently answered the questions asked by your peers, teachers and parents. I have been so impressed with the effort you have put into your learning and it has been fantastic to see the quality of your work and your confidence grow as the year has progressed. Keep it up next term, Julian. Well done!

Aria Wilkinson - For approaching your learning in a mature, positive way. Your enthusiasm has not gone unnoticed, especially in how you tackled your in-class Storm Disaster task. Aria, you are an exceptional student. You always go about your learning, setting high standards for yourself. It is a pleasure to see you flourish in class.
