Teaching & Learning
Helping your child at home!
Just a reminder that our teachers are available to provide feedback on how your child is going and offer suggestions on how you can assist at home. This can be done in person; before or after school, although I recommend you making a time with the classroom teacher if a more indepth discussion is required. We value our partnership with your in supporting your child's learning and wellbeing.
World Teacher's Day
Teaching is one of the most important, challenging, and impactful professions in the world.
To our wonderful teachers: thank you for all that you do for our students and our school. Thank you for your work in the classroom, on the sporting field, in the yard, at your desk, and long after the bell rings at home in the evening.
Teaching is not just about delivering a lesson plan; it is about building relationships, sparking curiosity, and instilling life-long skills like problem-solving, empathy, self-confidence, and perseverance.
Our teachers' at PVN show immense patience and resilience, meeting each day with passion and dedication even when faced with new challenges.
The influence they have on a young person's life is immeasurable—sometimes seen immediately, and often realised slowly over years as the care and guidance they showed manifest in who they become.
