Marvellous Monican

Congratulations to our Marvellous Monican, Madison Riquelme (10 Orange), whose commitment to serving others and making a positive difference in the community is truly inspiring.

Madison recently received a Special Commendation in the Victorian Spirit of Anzac Prize, an outstanding achievement among a large pool of applications from across Victoria. Her application demonstrated her strong community spirit and commitment to exploring Australia's significant wartime and peacekeeping history. Through students like Madison, the service and sacrifice of our veterans will continue to be remembered and honoured.

In addition to this wonderful achievement, Madison generously volunteers her time with Big Group Hug, a children's charity that supports families experiencing hardship by providing essential clothing, toys, books and baby equipment. Her willingness to give back to those in need reflects the values of compassion, generosity and service that are at the heart of St Monica's College.

Madison is a wonderful role model for our College community, and we congratulate her on this well-deserved recognition as a Marvellous Monican.
