Curriculum 

The final 2025 HSC exams were conducted this week. Mrs Carol Wheaton, on behalf of the exam invigilators, commended the group, noting their polite cooperation and preparedness. We look forward to celebrating with Yr 12 students and their families at the Graduation on Thursday 13th  November. HSC results will be released on Thursday 18 December. Many Year 12 teachers have been engaged by NESA to mark written exams across a broad range of subjects. 

 End of Year 11 reports were released to students and parents via COMPASS in Week 2 of this term with advice about making the transition to Year 12  and outlining next steps in improving learning for the HSC. Please contact staff via Compass if you have any concerns. In a meeting all students were reminded of NESA expectations, rules and procedures in relation to satisfactory completion of courses, including applying themselves with diligence and sustained effort to all set tasks and learning experiences  These are outlined in the following NESA link and all students should familiarise themselves with them Rules and Procedures Guide 2025 | NSW Government.

Year 10 students have completed  Yearly Examinations as part of their preparation for senior study.  We congratulate them for the mature and thoughtful way they approached this experience. Teachers will use this data, combined with other learning data, both formal and informal to determine the final NESA grade for each student. 

PAT Testing 

During Term 4, we will be collecting data on our students' progress in reading, literacy, and numeracy skills. These foundational skills are important for fostering a productive, hope-filled future. Our staff will analyse this data to inform and shape our students' learning experiences for the upcoming year.
