To the Graduating Class of 2025,

What an incredible journey it has been, and what a sensational finish to your time at St Peter’s College. Over the past six years, you’ve brought vibrancy, humour, and a spirit of adventure to our campus. You’ve been a lively cohort, always willing to give things a go and despite the disruption of home learning through your early years at St Peter's your energy and resilience have shone through and left a lasting impression.

Your enthusiastic participation in the McGuigan Shield, your commitment to sport, the school production, music, social justice, the arts, House activities and your involvement in other specialist cocurricular activities such as Book in a Day, Chess and debating, have all been outstanding. Tuesday’s celebration was a fitting way to celebrate your contribution, and it was clear that staff deeply appreciated the opportunity to honour you with such joy.

Your generosity shone through during our traditional Shared graduates and staff lunch; the Student Executive initiative of Taco Tuesday that brought everyone together with warmth and positivity. Then Wednesday’s graduation assembly was a standout moment. With the Hall filled with friends and family, your poise during the procession and the respectful way you received your certificates made it a special moment that we hope you got to savour.

The Thanksgiving Mass was a beautiful and reverent conclusion to the formalities, followed by a Valedictory dinner that allowed you to relax, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company. It was a night that captured the essence of who you are, spirited, united, and ready for what comes next.

As you step into the next phase of your lives, whether that’s work, travel, TAFE, or university, know that you carry with you the values and experiences that have shaped you here. We are proud of the young people you’ve become. Though we’re saddened to see you go, please remember that the doors of St Peter’s will always be open to you, especially in times of need.

You leave us with confidence, and we believe you are ready.  Ready to embrace the future with enthusiasm, energy, and gratitude.

We hope that when you look back on your time at St Peter’s that the memories are accompanied with a smile and the acknowledgment that you had a great time.

Warmest congratulations and best wishes for the journey ahead
