I am looking forward to completing interviews this week for our 2025 Boarding Captains. Recently, five Year 11 candidates presented their initiatives to all boarders at dinner. We look forward to finding out soon who will be leading our boarders in 2025.
We also wish our Year 11 and 12 boarders all the very best for their upcoming exams over the next two weeks. Students will be in-house at boarding in between exams.
This weekend will be another busy one with many activities planned for our boarders.
Friends of Boarding
I look forward to meeting with everyone next week on Tuesday 27 August at 7:00pm for our Friends of Boarding meeting. A Zoom link for this meeting was sent to all parents and carers on Wednesday.
Australian Boarding Schools Association Awards
I was humbled this week to receive a nomination for the Australian Boarding Schools Association Premier Leadership Award. Leading the Clayfield College Boarding House is the most rewarding and exciting position I have held in my career.
This job is not possible without an amazing team of dedicated and committed staff, a supportive Senior Leadership Team and our wonderful parent and carer community. Thank you for your support of our Boarding House.
