Year 3/4 Excursion to CERES

The Year 3/4 students enjoyed an exciting excursion to CERES Environment Park in Brunswick on Thursday 30 June. This experience connected directly to their current inquiry topic, 'Australia and Its Neighbours'.

Throughout the day, students explored a range of cultures through engaging, hands-on activities. They sampled native plants during a bush tucker walk, moved to lively rhythms in a Bollywood dance session, and brought Indigenous Dreamtime stories to life through dress-ups and storytelling. Students also learned and played traditional Indonesian games, including Sepak Takraw.

It was a fantastic opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of different cultures in a fun and memorable way.
