Thank you for a positive start to Term 3. A reminder that blazers are to be worn to and from the College and to homeroom. If a student does not have their blazer a note in the diary or email to their Pastoral Leader is required.
Congratulations to all the students who represented the College on tours during the holidays.

YEAR 8 ski trip
Best wishes to Ms Robertson and the Year 8 team who are engaged with the Year 8 ski expedition on the slopes at Perisher next week. The richly rewarding benefits and growth for our students will be remembered well into the future.

Depart: Monday 27 July, meet at Chatswood at 7:00 am for a 7:30 am departure
Return: Friday 31 July, approx. 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm in Chatswood
Accommodation: The Adventist Alpine Village (AAV) in Jindabyne
Attending: Year 8 students and 12 staff members
Key activity: 3 days skiing at Perisher Blue Resort
Purpose: Build new connections, develop friendships, overcome adversity, build resilience, work in a team, learn or develop a skill, develop independence, and have fun
Year 12 2027 Student Leadership Team
Over the coming weeks students and staff will be invited to register their input for the discernment of our Student Leadership Team 2027. As Year 12 commence their HSC Trial examinations in two weeks followed by retreats and the conclusion of their HSC courses later in the term, Year 11 students will take up the mantle of leadership of the college beginning with our Student Leadership Retreat on Wednesday to Friday 26 – 28 August.
Locker Locks
After a check of lockers, it has been noted that some students are using locks that are not approved St Pius X College locks. All lockers must have the compliant college lock so that lockers are able to be accessed if necessary.
If a student does not have a St Pius X lock they are required to purchase one from Student Reception at a cost of $45.00 (only credit/debit card is accepted for payment - no cash).
Students have until Week 3 to ensure that they are using the correct lock.
Students signing in late
Students are required to use their school-issued Student ID Card to sign in to the iPad if they arrive at school late after 8:35 am.
Students therefore need to have their Student ID card with them at all times in the event of late arrival.
Any student arriving late without their Student ID card to sign in will have their name recorded with their Pastoral Leader.
