Feast of the Sacred Heart-A Heartfelt Thank You!
A big thank you to all the students and your families for the generous donations of packaged food items for today’s special celebration of the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
These donations have now been collected by Celie Kelly and taken to the St Vinnies Service Outlet, where they will be added to their large pantry.
Celie has asked us to pass on her heartfelt thanks to everyone—she said these donations will make a big difference to many families during the cold winter months. To give you an idea of the incredible generosity shown, together St Luke’s and St Brendan’s filled 4 car loads of food—boot, backseat, and passenger seat included!
Thank you, girls and boys, for being such wonderful Pilgrims of Hope. As Fr Joe reminded us at Mass today: to love with your heart as Jesus did is also to give and help others.
Sacramental Masses
Our Sacramental students this year have worked well at home and in their Cluster groups to complete their final preparations for the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Eucharist.
Please pray for our candidates as the time approaches for them to receive these Sacraments.
Sacramental Weekend
Friday, 15th August at 6:30pm
Saturday, 16th August at 6pm
Sunday, 17th August at 11am
Please note further details regarding final preparations for Reconciliation and your child’s final Mass practice dates and times via parent e-mails from Jess Doyle (St Brendan’s Parish Sacramental co-ordinator)
May God’s love and blessings be with our students on their special day and stay with them always.
