World Book Online is a great place for students to explore the world around us in a safe and secure online environment. Students are exposed to World Book Online during their library lessons and are then encouraged to use World Book within the classroom as their first point of reference when conducting research. It contains thousands of information articles that are updated and fact-checked daily. There are also eBooks and many interesting and educational games and puzzles.

World Book Kids—is based on World Book’s award winning Discovery Encyclopedia and is designed to give younger students, ESL students and reluctant readers a rewarding online learning experience. The site illustrations, diagrams and maps enrich more than 2,000 articles selected for appeal and relevance.
World Book Student—forms the foundation of an expansive reference database that includes over 40,000 encyclopaedias and reference articles, thousands of links to outside web sites selected by World Book editors and contributors. It also includes an extensive Dictionary and Atlas plus audios, visuals and animations.
World Book Advanced—tailored for the needs of older students, it includes encyclopedic content, integrates primary and secondary source databases plus more than 5,500 e-books in a single search, over 700 e-books can be downloaded to e-readers and iPads, and a wealth of research tools that allow students to customise and save their work.

SORA Updated - easy access guide
Sora, by OverDrive, is a free reading app that helps students discover and enjoy leisure and classroom reading. With Sora, students can access digital materials and can filter e-books and audiobooks for any interest and reading level. You can never have an overdue book either as they will automatically be returned if you do not extend the borrowing period!
Important Note: Content is filtered for age appropriateness. Reading levels and age appropriateness factors are determined by publishing companies.
