Our Catholic Community

Big Water Walk

Students will participate in the Big Water Walk on Thursday 3rd April. The Big Water Walk will be our major Project Compassion fundraiser. Each class will nominate how many laps of the school oval they can complete in 20 minutes.

Every day, 292 million people spend more than 30 minutes walking to collect safe, clean water. For many, this is a daily journey that takes time, effort, and resources.  By taking part in The BIG Water Walk, our school will support support communities in Africa, Asia, and the Pacific. Together, we can help provide access to clean, safe water and empower communities to break free from the cycle of poverty.

Year 7 Religious Studies

Mrs Moylan's class recently participated in a prayer reflection. Students reflected on the Apostles Creed and scripture about Catholic beliefs. They have been learning about Catholic beliefs in the unit, 'What it Means to Be Catholic'. There has been lots of requests to do it again!

Caritas Q&A Zooms

On Wednesday, Year 4 and 5 particiapted in a Q&A session with Caritas.  Caritas Q&As offer the opportunity for students to interact with Caritas staff and partners from both overseas and here in Australia. Students were able to ask questions to staff who are in direct contact with those we support though our fundraising.
