Community Update
What an exciting week it has been with the official launch of the Acacias Ball, celebrating 120 years of Loreto College Marryatville, on Saturday, 5 April 2025! It's been wonderful to see the response with table bookings and raffle tickets already being purchased. Even if you can’t attend the ball, we encourage you to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win some incredible prizes, including:
- An Adelaide Oval Stay, Climb, and Dine experience, kindly donated by Adelaide Oval
- A Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant and Wine Package, generously donated by Kylie McCullah and Penfolds
- Fernwood Fitness Packages, kindly donated by Fernwood Fitness

We are also starting to gather items for our silent and live auctions, as well as wine donations for the wine wall. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended our Volunteer Thank You Evening last week. It was a wonderful chance to gather and express our appreciation for the hard work and dedication that makes our Loreto community so strong. Your positive contributions truly make a difference.
Lastly, we want to extend our thanks to all those who have volunteered for the P&F BBQ at next Friday’s Pre-school to Year 6 Christmas Concert. We are so grateful for your time and support in making this event a success.

Safety Reminder: Drop-Off Zones
We kindly remind all parents that the Acacias area is not a designated drop-off zone for students. Earlier this week, a vehicle parked at the top of the gravel driveway created a potential safety hazard for other drivers entering from Portrush Road.
To ensure the safety of students, staff, and the wider community, we urge parents to use the designated drop-off areas only. The Acacias entrance is a “blind” hairpin turn, and any obstruction significantly increases the risk of accidents.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school environment safe for everyone.

Where: The Square, Loreto College

LOSA End of Year Celebration
Join us to celebrate the year that was, connect with other Old Scholars or nominate to join the Committee for 2025. The night will commence with welcome drinks and the AGM - a review of the year and LOSA Sport, followed by meals and beverages available for purchase.
LOSA merchandise will be available for purchase on the night.
