Happy Chinese New Year! (新年快乐 – Xin Nian Kuai Le!)
As the Lunar New Year begins on February 17 this year, families across China and many Asian communities will celebrate the start of the 15-day Spring Festival holiday — a time for joy, reunion, and new beginnings.
The DPS community joins in these celebrations by wishing everyone good health, happiness, and success in 2026. May this new year bring many blessings and wonderful achievements to all our students, staff, and families.
We’re also delighted to announce our school’s very first Lion Dance Team, made up of nine enthusiastic Grade 5 and 6 students! Their first debut performance will take place during the Week 5 Assembly next week.
Although the group is still in the early stages of practice, they are excited to share a short, lively performance to celebrate the spirit of the New Year.
We look forward to refining the performance together in the coming months and presenting an even more vibrant show in the second half of Semester 1.
Wishing everyone a joyful and prosperous Year of the Dragon!
新年快乐! Xin Nian Kuai Le!
