Middle Sub School Leader
Dear Parents and Carers,
I have truly valued the opportunity to meet with many of you during our Student Support Group (SSG) meetings over the past couple of weeks. These meetings are such an important part of our partnership between home and school. They allow us to share insights, celebrate progress, and work together to ensure your child is supported in the best possible way, academically, socially and emotionally. It has been wonderful to have meaningful discussions focused on individual strengths, goals and the aspirations we all hold for our students.
There is one more week remaining of SSG meetings. If you have not yet booked your meeting, I strongly encourage you to do so. Your voice is paramount in shaping your child’s Individual Education Plan, meeting their new teacher, and collaboratively setting clear and purposeful goals for the year ahead. When families and educators work together, the outcomes for students are significantly strengthened.
Across the Middle Sub School, students have continued to settle positively into their learning routines. It has been pleasing to see strong engagement in classroom activities, growing confidence in trying new tasks, and the development of new friendships. We are proud of the way our students are supporting one another and embracing opportunities to learn and connect each day.

Room 11 have made an excellent start to the year, learning and following new routines and exploring new activities and friendships. We look forward to seeing the students as they grow in their academics and their social skills, making new friendships along the way.
