Zoe Pirotta
Primary Sub School Leader
My name is Zoe Pirotta, and I am incredibly excited to have joined the team at Jacana School for Autism as the Primary Sub‑School Leader. I feel very privileged to step into this role and to become part of a school community that is so deeply committed to creating safe, supportive, and meaningful learning experiences for every student.
I am passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, and families, and I value the role these connections play in fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
I am particularly excited to work alongside the dedicated staff at Jacana to continue strengthening our teaching and learning practices, ensuring our primary students experience a rich, engaging, and consistent educational journey.
I look forward to working in partnership with teachers, allied health staff, and families to support students’ wellbeing, communication, independence, and growth. Together, I am confident we can continue to build learning environments where every child feels safe, successful, and proud of who they are.
Thank you for welcoming me so warmly. I am genuinely excited for the year ahead and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the wonderful work happening at Jacana School for Autism.
ROOM 1
Room 1 have had a great start to the year. In Room 1 our focus has been on settling in and learning new routines. We have been learning routines such as morning circle and independent work. The students have also enjoyed exploring new locations of the school such as the playground, OT Room, Garden and Climbing Gym. Students have also been learning to share and wait for turns to use many different toys and items. Room 1 are looking forward to learning more throughout this term.
