School Captains Report

SCHOOL CAPTAINS REPORT:

We have made a great start to Term 3! 

First off, a massive congratulations to our new school captains for 2025, Jayesh, and Rhianna, and vice captains Vinh, and Dinda! Your passion and dedication are already shining through, and we know you'll do an amazing job in your respective roles. 

Last term, we ran a leadership workshop for those interested in applying for leadership positions next year—a big thank you to everyone who attended and asked questions. Your enthusiasm was truly appreciated by us, along with the domain and house captains!

Following this, term 3 has already been packed with so many exciting events. These include the school musical production High School Musical, which was absolutely incredible, Math Week, HAPE Week, and Green Week with Science Week just around the corner. 

In Week 5, we are thrilled to welcome Professor Cory to our school! With Suzanne Cory High School being named in her honour, she is one of Australia’s most distinguished molecular biologists. It is fantastic to see that all spots have been filled for attending the Research Q&A with Professor Cory, which we are very excited to MC.

Lastly, with whole school exams approaching, we understand this period can be stressful with assessments piling up. Remember, academic and well-being support is always available, along with the help of your teachers and peers. Remember to make time for yourself, and take things one day at a time—we’ve got this!
