Arts and Technology Exhibition 2025

On Monday 20 October, we hosted the Arts and Technology exhibition opening event. Many of the wider community attended to help celebrate our many talented students’ achievements. Students were treated to a real gallery experience, with their artworks and innovative technology projects displayed alongside live musical performances. 

Professional artist and Venice Biennale finalist, Dean De Landre was our guest of honour for the evening. He presented an artist choice award to Shaun McKearney 12E, for his painting ‘Me Vs Me’.

The principal’s acquisition award, selected by Josh Baker, was presented to Scarlet Harris 10R. Scarlets stunning impasto portrait will be on display in Mr Bakers office for the next 12 months. 

Jay Bain 12A and Shaun McKearney 12E received Artists of the Year awards for their exceptional efforts in VCE Visual Arts this year. 

A very big thank you to all who assisted in facilitating this event, and of course to all our talented students at Belmont High School.
