Premiers' Reading Challenge Success
For the fifth year in a row, every student at ARPS has successfully completed the Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge. Achieving 100% participation is an outstanding accomplishment and reflects the strong reading culture across the school.
The most-read book at ARPS this year was 'The Truck Cat' by Deborah Frenkel. This story was also the 2025 National Simultaneous Storytime book. Year 2 and Year 4 students were fortunate to receive their own copy when they attended the live event at Springvale Library.
Books by popular author Aaron Blabey were also favourites among students, with 'Pig the Pug' and 'Busting' being the next most-read titles.
All students will receive an official completion certificate in Term 4 to celebrate their achievement.
