Principal's Message
Oval and Baskteball Court works
Over the holiday period, repairs will be carried out to the basketball court joins. Once the repairs are completed, the areas will need time to cure properly. Cones and barriers will be used to section off the repaired areas, and we ask everyone to please stay clear of these areas until they are ready for use.
The oval will also be undergoing the first stage of its improvement, with new turf being laid. To allow the turf to establish properly and the roots to take hold, the oval will need to remain closed for approximately 4–6 weeks.
We appreciate everyone's cooperation while these important works are carried out. Staying off the repaired areas and new turf will help ensure the work can be completed successfully and the facilities are ready for everyone to enjoy.
Aussie of the Month- Junior Freddie V
This Aussie of the Month brings happiness, kindness and enthusiasm to every aspect of school life. They consistently demonstrate our school values through their inclusive, responsible and caring nature, both in the classroom and during break times. They approach learning with curiosity and an open mind, working diligently towards their goals and always striving to improve. They readily accept feedback and are motivated to develop their skills across reading, writing and mathematics.
He is a much-loved member of our junior school community and a true friend to everyone. His warm and welcoming nature, wonderful sense of humour and love of sport allow him to connect easily with others and build positive friendships. He makes those around him feel safe, comfortable and included, always treating others with fairness, kindness and respect.
He brings a wonderful sense of happiness and joy to our classroom each day, greeting others with his radiant smile and bubbly personality. His humble and caring nature shines through in everything he does. He never gives up when faced with a challenge and is always willing to support others, offer encouragement and lend a helping hand. He is a truly deserving recipient of Aussie of the Month.
Aussie of the Month- Senior Emma P
This Aussie of the Month award goes to a student who truly embodies the values and spirit of our school community. She approaches every opportunity with positivity, enthusiasm and a genuine willingness to challenge herself. She takes pride in her efforts and, when faced with challenges, demonstrates resilience and perseverance. Her positive attitude and consideration for others make her a wonderful role model to those around her.
In the classroom, this student approaches her learning with curiosity, determination and a genuine love of learning. She consistently strives to achieve her personal best and is willing to take risks, even when she may not be certain of the outcome. She confidently contributes to class discussions, sharing her thoughts, ideas and knowledge and encouraging others to do the same. Her willingness to contribute and enthusiasm for learning make her a valued member of our classroom.
Beyond the classroom, she has embraced numerous opportunities to develop her leadership skills and contribute to school life. In Year 5, she took on the responsibility of being a Pleasant Snacks Manager, demonstrating reliability and responsibility. She also showed confidence and commitment through her involvement in our school production, performing as a main character, and has continued to develop her leadership this year as a Performing Arts Leader. In this role, she has contributed to the organisation of our school disco, demonstrating excellent teamwork and collaboration.
Her involvement in the Let’sTALK program has also highlighted her maturity and compassion. Through her interactions with younger students, she has helped foster a sense of belonging, friendship and mentorship, showing genuine care for others and a willingness to support those around her.
Having been a valued member of 5/6C for the past two years, she has made a lasting impression on both our classroom and the wider MPRPS community. Her gratitude, humour and zest, combined with her willingness to embrace new experiences and support others, have made her a truly valued member of our school.
It is with great pleasure that we recognise the positive influence she has had on those around her and the many ways she continues to contribute to our school community.
Footy Day- Thursday
A huge thank you to ourPE teacher, David, and our wonderful Sports Captainsfor organising a fantastic session of footy activities today!
Our students had a wonderful time getting involved, showing off their skills, working together and, most importantly, having fun.
School Disco- Friday
Our students had a fabulous day today as we celebrated our ‘Off to the Movies’ school theme! There was plenty of excitement with students getting into the spirit and enjoying the disco.
A huge thank you to our Performing Arts Captains for helping to make the day so special. Your enthusiasm and leadership helped create such a fun atmosphere for everyone.
A very special thank you also to Ms Tyson for all her hard work and organisation behind the scenes.
Baby news
Congratulations to Jess Hirvonen on the birth Valli who was born on 8/9/26.
Jess and family are doing really well, and Zephyr is doing the best job adjusting to life as a big brother.

2027 Planning
At this stage of the year, we have started planning for 2027. If you know that your child will be leaving us at the end of 2026, please email the office to let us know as soon as possible with the title 'Attention Louise and Claudia' .
