Week 10

What a fantastic way to wrap up the term at OSHClub! We finished the week with plenty of creativity, games, cooking, and lots of fun with our friends. It has been a wonderful term filled with new experiences, challenges and opportunities for children to get involved, try new things and let their imaginations run wild.

We kept our mornings delicious with our Breakfast Club this week with smoothies, cheesy toasties, hash browns, chocolate chip pancake muffins and cheesy quesadillas. There was something for everyone to enjoy as we started each morning together! Our Snack Squad menu was just as exciting, with garlic bread and tomato soup, chicken noodles, mini quiches and fresh rice paper rolls. To finish off the term, we celebrated our last day with a special selection of party food for everyone to enjoy!

Our creative and STEM spaces were busy all week! Children experimented with Orbeez, created their own playdough masterpieces, painted beautiful sunsets and built 3D creations using cardboard. We also explored space through our agamograph artwork, challenged ourselves with maze puzzles and enjoyed games including Scattergories, Celebrity Heads and chess tournaments. Our cooking experiences were another highlight, with children making cupcakes from scratch and experimenting with different toppings before baking delicious brownies for our final day of Term 3! 

There was plenty of physical action outdoors with hopscotch, dodgeball, Grab a Planet, Octopus, Grounders and One Touch Soccer. Children also enjoyed setting up their own mini golf course and getting involved in basketball and footy games throughout the week.

A huge thank you to all of our children and families for another wonderful term! We have loved seeing the children’s creativity, friendships, confidence and enthusiasm grow throughout the term. We hope everyone has a fantastic break and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting term at OSHClub! 

Holiday Program

Our September Holiday Program is just around the corner, and we have an exciting two weeks of adventures planned! From wildlife encounters, reptile shows and a petting zoo to the Royal Melbourne Show, Gumbaya World and a special movie excursion, there will be plenty of fun for everyone. We also have creative make-and-take activities, STEM experiences, cooking and animal-themed games planned throughout the holidays. Accessing After hours 

For the safety of all families, we ask that parents and carers enter and exit through the side pedestrian gate next to Reception when collecting children after hours, rather than through the reception area. This designated access point provides a safer route to the OSHC service and helps minimise the need for families to walk through areas that may not be supervised or accessible after school hours. Thank you for supporting our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for everyone.

Enrolling Your Child

For new enrolments, please go to https://www.oshclub.com.au/register/

Please note: CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy. CCS applications are submitted automatically to Centrelink when new enrolments are actioned. 

Bookings

Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance. 

If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.

Cancellation of Bookings

IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:25pm to avoid a non-notified absence fee of $20.00 per child. 

We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident. 

As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
