Library Captains

This term, we have really been enjoying our roles as Library Captains. We have been helping students borrow books during our own class library sessions and supporting them to choose texts that interest them. We have also loved working with our Prep classes by helping them borrow books during their library time and guiding them through how the borrowing process works. 

We have been working alongside teachers to help organise a library update by handing out suggestion sheets to all classes. It has been exciting to collect student ideas and work with Mrs Crawford and Miranda to begin creating a library wish list that reflects what students would like to see in our library.

We are really enjoying our roles and are excited to help keep the library an organised, welcoming and enjoyable space for everyone. One of our favourite parts has been working with the Prep students and building positive connections with them, as well as getting to see our Prep buddies more frequently in this time too.
