String Soiree and Transition Night  Nov 12

This week the Strings held a fantastic concert in D7 for parents and friends.

Apart from the fabulous solos and duos presented, we also enjoyed The Senior Strings performing Pirates of the Caribbean, Senior Chamber Strings performing Vivaldi Concerto in A minor and Mozart Flute Quartet in C with the addition of Phoebe Chuah on flute. 

While the Strings were performing in D7, the Concert Band played the very well known Mario Bros Theme to the new Year 7 students for 2025 at the Transition Evening.

Concert Band members would like to thank Erin Flynn, Lucas Mosbey and Hannah Carroll for their dedication to Music from Year 7-12 with a traditional commemorative mug. These students have studied their instruments for 6 years and have also been involved in ensembles, concerts, camps, captaincy and productions.

Woodwind, Brass  Soiree Wed 20 Nov D7  6pm-7.15pm 

Inter Band and a number of soloists, duos are performing next week at the woodwind, brass soiree. Parents and friends are welcome to attend. 

VCE Performance Exam

Well done to Erin Flynn on completing her VCE Music Performance Exam featuring both soprano flute and our new alto flute. Phoebe Chuah supported Erin in one of her assessed items.
