Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure Program
We are pleased to share that the Ulverstone Campus will soon welcome Bravehearts: Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure Program this term (Kinder - Year 2), with the Burnie Campus scheduled for September. This engaging program supports our commitment to child safety education.
What Children Will Learn
Through a fun, age-appropriate performance, students will explore:
Differentiating safe and unsafe feelings
Recognising the body’s warning signs
Body ownership and that it is ok to say no
Helping children name public and private parts using anatomically correct names
Reinforcing that there is no secret that children cannot tell someone
What to do if you feel unsafe or unsure
These are reinforced through simple messages:
We all have the right to feel safe
It’s okay to say “no”
Nothing is too yucky to tell someone
Preparing Your Child
You may like to discuss the following questions with your child/children before the visit:
Who are your safe adults?
What should you do if something doesn’t feel right?
How can you say “no” if you feel uncomfortable?
Working Together
Parents are warmly invited to attend the performance at the Ulverstone Campus on Wednesday 17 June at 2.00pm.
