JOB SKILLS EXPO – 2026 National Careers Week Activity
On Thursday 14 May, Year 9/10 students of Leighland Christian School, Geneva College and Year 9 students of Devonport Christian School combined in the MP Hall (Ulv Campus) to participate in the 2026 Job Skills EXPO which was designed to engage students in a variety of work skills. It was amazing!!
Students were able to try seven skills on rotation throughout the day. These were provided by host industries who were invited to present a 30 minute information and hands on activity session on repeat. A “shout out” to the students across the schools who embraced the opportunity and engaged so well to try their hand and learn about industry expectations.

It was a pleasure to be able to provide positive Careers Education for Year 9/10 students to explore and assist with future pathway decision-making.
