BPS Social and Fundraising Committee

Open Night
We'll be running a sausage sizzle and spring roll air-fry on Open Night so come and visit us, while supplies last!
Thank you!
Last week, the BPS Social and Fundraising Committee was delighted to host our first Mother’s Day Grab & Go event, welcoming soo many wonderful mums and special people from our Blackburn Primary School community. 💐
The morning was filled with warmth, laughter, and so many special moments as families stopped by before the school day began. It was especially lovely watching students carefully choose sweet treats for their mums and special people — each one picked with so much thought and excitement about what they thought would be enjoyed most.
Our mums were spoilt with delicious sweet treats and coffee cards generously donated by Rock Up Coffee and Jefferies, helping make the morning feel extra special.
A gorgeous flower bouquet, kindly donated by Jefferies, was also raffled off and won by one of our lovely Prep mums — a very deserving winner!
Our Polaroid photo station was another huge highlight of the morning, with plenty of mums lining up to capture those beautiful memory-making moments with their children.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to all the wonderful committee members and volunteers who helped make the event such a success. Events like these are only possible because of the generosity, support, and community spirit within Blackburn Primary School.
If you are interested in getting involved with the BPS Social and Fundraising Committee, we would absolutely love to hear from you. New faces and helping hands are always welcome as we continue creating fun and meaningful events for our school community. 💕

Ongoing Fundraising
The digital Entertainment Book allows you to access discounts at thousands of stores and restaurants in Australia and overseas directly from your phone, no more physical coupons needed! Starting at $70 for a year's membership, 20% of the purchase price of each membership goes directly to our school.
One of the biggest benefits is saving 4% on every shop at Woolworths by buying eGift cards (a $500 Woolworths gift card costs $480) which you can buy and use yourself, and which can be used online and in-store (just by scanning it from your phone at the checkout). The eGift cards have no expiry date and you can buy as many as you want.
The BPS SFC is a relaxed and friendly committee of enthusiastic parents who enhance the school by supporting fundraising, social and other school events. It's fun, free and it's rewarding being an active member and supporter of your child's school community.
There is plenty of room for more members and everyone is welcome. If you want to find out more, please contact Shamagne at bps.parentsfriends@gmail.com
