Band & Choir
Term 2 is shaping up to be a very musical term with many performance opportunities for our students. We look forward to seeing you at some of the events below!
Open Night - tomorrow Thursday 14th May
The following ensembles will be performing tomorrow:
- Choir & Symphonic Band – 2027 Foundation Information Session – 4.30pm in Multi-Purpose Room
- Choir, Symphonic Band & Chinese Dancing Group - 5.30pm in Gym
ARRIVAL TIMES
CHOIR – Please meet Mrs Shacklock in the Music Room at 4.15pm for a vocal warm-up wearing the FULL CHOIR UNIFORM including black plain, bright coloured short-sleeve tee and plain black leggings / jeans / skirt (no bare legs). If you own more than one coloured tee, it would be greatly appreciated if you could bring it along (labelled clearly with child's name please). Thank you! SYMPHONIC BAND - Please arrive at 4.15pm in the Multi-Purpose Room with instruments and sheet music wearing FULL BAND UNIFORM.

CHINESE DANCE GROUP - Please meet Miss Yi in her classroom at 5.15pm
Costume requirement - black leggings and plain, bright coloured short-sleeve tee.

Mid-Year Soiree Raffle!
We have some amazing prizes for our Mid-Year Soiree (our only fundraiser for the year) and we will be selling tickets in the Gym foyer tomorrow evening.
Tickets are $1.00 each. Payment by eftpos or cash.
The raffle will be drawn on Thursday 11th June at the Mid-Year Soiree.

As you know we have an incredible Band Program, and we are proud to hold open morning rehearsals before school on Wednesday 3rd June, Thursday 4th June and Friday 5th June.
Please see flyer for rehearsal information. This will be such a great opportunity for you to see what happens during a band rehearsal. You don’t need to be in the band to come along!

Please note that all Band and Ensemble rehearsals begin at 7.50am.
