Welcome Back

We have a very busy Term 2, with many events coming up, so please keep an eye out in the newsletter and on Compass for upcoming events. 

• District Cross Country - Wednesday 20th May - Bundoora Park
• Division Cross Country - Wednesday 3rd June 
• Girls Only Basketball Clinic (selected students) - Wednesday 13th May - WPS
• Hockey 7s Gala Day - Wednesday 10th June - Greensborough Hockey Club

Interschool Sport

Interschool starts next Friday, 1st May. The sports for this Term are AFL 9s, Netball and Soccer. We are really looking forward to a great term of fun, teamwork and sportsmanship. 

Below is the fixture for the term, so please feel free to come along and support our students each week.

State Schools Victoria

Over the last month, we have had some students represent Whittlesea Primary School at the State School Victoria tryouts for Basketball, AFL, Netball and Cricket. 

All students displayed great sportsmanship and did their best. 

• AFL - Hudson Matthews and Hunter Saw
• Netball - Lottie Carrolan, Ariah Crocker and Samantha Fisher
• Cricket - Fletcher McKechnie and Keagan Brown
• Basketball - Eva Reilly, Maya Smith, Nathan Murrell, Oliver Ituarte

I would like to give a special shout-out to Hunter, Maya and Lottie, who have all been selected to move on to the next round in their chosen sports.
