Assistant Principals' Report
Rae Gittos & Matt Kirkright
We have certainly hit the ground running this term, with a lot already happening in and around the school. It was nice to have some sunshine before the cooler weather of winter sets in.
It was pleasing to see such a great turnout at our Parent-Teacher Interviews on Wednesday. Our Captains have been busy selling ANZAC badges before school, and we hope to have a great turnout at the ANZAC March on Saturday. Remember to accept or decline the Compass event to assist with planning and staffing on the day.

On Thursday, the 7th May, we will hold our annual Mother's Day stall. The event has been posted on Compass. All gifts are $5.00 and payable via Compass. If you would like to purchase an additional gift, please contact the office before purchasing online. If your child is away on the day, you will have the opportunity to choose a gift on Friday, 8th May.
In addition to our stall, we will host a Mother's Day Afternoon Tea on Friday, 8th May at 2:45 PM in the school gym. To assist with catering, we request that our Mum's (or special person) RSVP using this link. We look forward to celebrating with you all.

Just a reminder, Breakfast Club is back for Term 2! Starting Monday, 27th April, Breakfast Club will return to the school gymnasium from 8:00 am to 8:30 am. Thank you to our wonderful community volunteers, Casey, Jenny and Cheryl, for making this possible. Parents and carers are welcome to attend with their children.

Our Pre-Foundation program gives 4-year-old kindergarten-aged children the opportunity to experience life at Whittlesea Primary School. The program is designed to create a safe and supportive transition to the Foundation in 2027. Commencing in Term 3, one-hour sessions run on either Monday or Tuesday afternoons from 1:50 pm to 2:50 pm.
Places are limited, so we encourage you to apply early to secure your preferred day.
For more information, you can collect an enrolment form from the office or contact the school on 9716 2140.
