Beyond the Bell

Episode 5 - Passing the Mic: Meet your 2027 College Captains

A new chapter begins on Beyond the Bell as our 2026 College Captains, Niamh and Monica, officially hand over the microphone to Mt A's 2027 College Captains, Georgette and Bronte.

In this special episode, get to know the student leaders who will help shape the year ahead. From their hobbies, interests and involvement in College life to their favourite school memories, Georgette and Bronte share what inspired them to run for College Captain, the qualities they believe make a great leader, and the initiatives they hope to bring to the College community.

They also offer valuable advice for younger students aspiring to leadership roles and reflect on the legacy of leadership they hope to continue.

Tune in to meet the voices leading Mt A into 2027 and discover the passion, purpose and vision behind their leadership journey.

If there’s a topic that you’d like us to shine a light on in our upcoming episodes of Beyond The Bell, we encourage students to get in touch with your 2027 Captains Bronte and Georgette via email.

About Beyond the Bell, the Mount Alvernia College Podcast

Hosted by our College Captains, Beyond the Bell is a podcast created to celebrate and share the many stories that make up our Mount Alvernia community. It offers parents, carers, students, staff and the broader community a window into College life beyond the classroom – the moments, conversations and experiences that shape who we are.

Each episode shines a light on the people, passions and purpose that make our College what it is – exploring learning, leadership, wellbeing, faith, service and the everyday moments that matter. It’s about connection, courage and community, and sharing the stories that reflect who we are and who we are becoming.

Beyond the Bell is an initiative of our 2026 College Captains, Niamh and Monica.
